Would you pledge to a fraternity if you had a chance and there was very little hazing?

I am going to transfer to another university and I had a friend who is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi and he told me that he would try to get me in. I would like to join because of chances to form close relationships with other hard working guys, meet people including girls, and to be able to have access to parties and social events.
