Does grace give us free will to live the way we want?

No i am not perfect, Does God not say: Be ye Holy for I am holy? and if you love Me you will obey Me? Yes, we are all sinners, but it is one thing to fall to sin, another just to live in it without any conviction. And my whole reasoning behind my question was Yes, it was a political leader and the choices he made that will impact us all. God says He loves the sinner, but hates the sin. If we know to do right and what is good are we not to at least practice it? look at the world today because we do as we Feel, and there is no remorse. Yes, Jesus accepts us as we are but loves us enough not to leave us that way". Amen.
