38 weeks pregnant, I know its silly--but should I be concerned?

I had to be induced when I was 37 weeks with my first because my blood pressure got to high. Other than the high blood pressure (which is relatively common with your first child), I had an extremely easy pregnancy.. In fact, I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 4 months along! I only found out then because I had a potium deficiency and ended up in the ER. I lost my mucous plug when I was about 36 weeks, pretty much right before I was induced. I was already 2 cm when I has put into the hospital though. I don't remember ever having any contractions though! Consider yourself VERY lucky to have such an easy pregnancy, because it is not the usual! This time around I have had really bad ligament pain and back pains, been more nauseous too. You may have a long labor, but then again, maybe you will just pop her right out! Don't be anxious about it, just be glad that you will be able to enjoy your new baby when she gets here!
